Martin Hayward-Harris, Living Artist
His work has supported Wildlife Conservation worldwide. It is by no coincidence that over the last twenty years Martin Hayward-Harris' work has been represented in many of the great institutions of the world. He exhibited in Canada and the United States.
He trained at The Natural History Museum for five years producing a bench-mark sculpture of a Blue Whale which is still on show in South Kensington today. In 1988 Martin was head-hunted for a similar post at the National Museum of Denmark, Copenhagen, where he worked with some of Europe's greatest wildlife artists. Ten years later Martin's work was chosen by The Daily Mail to be the centrepiece of The Hampton Court Flower Show which became a sell-out.
From 1995 his work has supported the WWF through Christies' sales and in 2001 was represented in 20th Century British Art with his Boxing Hare. Martin's work is represented in many private and public collections including:The National Museum of Wales, The Woburn Estate, The Wellington Estate, The Late Princess Diana, Corporations in France, Japan and USA.
His work has been catalogued Through the International Auction Houses and sold in New York at Sotheby's in 2015.The European Roller and Hobby Falcon displayed here were shortlisted for the Royal Academy London and displayed in The Sonora Desert Museum Arizona. Martin's GildedTiger 2063' Headlined The DSWF Wildlife Artist of The Year for The Tiger Conservation project called TigerTime.The sculpture is now on permanent display at the International Museum of Nature in Art Twigworth Gloucestershire.
