Andrew Black RSW (1850-1916)

Black trained in the Glasgow School of Art and in Paris, he worked as a designer before turning to art full time in 1877. He specialised in Marine pictures mostly of Scottish Subjects. He was a keen yachtsman and had an intimate knowledge of the waters around Scotland.

Andrew Black's works have been exhibited widely in prestigious galleries including R.S.A, G.I, R.S.W
