 Pennington was active throughout the UK but was made famous for his unique style, usually focussing on scenes from the North of England, in particular his hometown of Liverpool. Much of Pennington's work is on display at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. This picture comes from a private collection and is offered for sale for the first time in over 100 years.
