Anthony Woodd Gallery

Born in Leipzig, Germany in 1838, he studied under William Krause in Berlin from 1854 - 1856, when he settled in Paris and began exhibiting at the Salon. He also exhibited in London, mainly at the Royal Academy. He had an international reputation as a maritime artist and his work is represented in the Art Galleries at Cologne, Leipzig, Nottingham, Rio de Janeiro and in Sydney, Australia.
